From supermodel to cosmetics empress and wife, Iman has pretty much done it all — yet there’s still more in the pipeline. The iconic model is launching Iman Home with PK Lifestyles late this month, but will allow a sneak peak at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Lincoln Center next week. With design consultant Carlos Mota, Iman will design the VIP Mercedes-Benz Star Lounge at the tents at Lincoln Center. Using Iman’s new fabrics, the duo conjured up an oasis replete with pieces of her personal furniture, including African stools and framed photographs by Bruce Weber and Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.

“Since I stopped modeling, got married and had a daughter, home has become a passion of mine,” she told WWD.

 “The gods of the interior decoration must have been looking down on me, because all of a sudden, here was this great opportunity to create the Mercedes-Benz Star Lounge.”

“It’s probably going to be the new place to find me,” she said. “At least until fashion week is up.”
