Miss Miley Cyrus attended the Peoples Choice Awards in Los Angeles, Ca last night in a dress that screamed “double take”. She definitely looked like she meant business. The dress is about a yard short of saying “take me right now on this red carpet” yet it is subtle enough to for high fashion mixed with a dash of sophistication. The hot pink metallic shoes were the perfect selection because a platform would have made the dress look too freakum-ish. The clutch was the cherry on top. Well done, Miley! READ MORE ….

As Award Show season approaches, we can look forward to all of the pre-parties and the fabulous outfits and the not-so fabulous ones. Getting dressed seems easier than it actually is and there are many factors to take into consideration like body shape, colors that work against your flesh tone, accessories, and shoes followed by hair and make-up. Oh and please don’t let it rain because we all know too well what that looks like on and off the camera! First off to bat are the Anne Heche and Jessica Lowndes who attended the 2012 Golden Globe Awards Party Hosted By Audi And Martin Katz.

Color blocking works if the shades and shapes work for your body and apparently these don’t drape too well. Pewter is an innocent nighttime shade however, the fit does not work. This would have served better as a straight-fitting mini dress.

Whenever a Mission Impossible movie comes out there are a few things we look forward to: Tom Cruise, Tom Cruise’s arrival, and the overall fashion, of course.

The NY red carpet premiere took place last night and we have our thoughts to share. Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes never seem to disappoint with their, classic all-Amercian style. Paula Patton showed a bit of her fun side with a colorful sequined dress that we were not too fond of. For a movie of this calibur, we would have expected sleek, hair pulled back, chandelier earrings, and maybe Cushnie et Ohs, Prabal Garung, or maybe even Alice and Olivia for something with a bit of an edge. Nonetheless, the hot pink suede Loutboutins were amaze balls!

Now that the Versace for H&M madness has passed, it’s time to get back to our usual fashion red carpet and entertainment news. The AMA’s took place last night in Los Angeles and as usual, the stars strutted their stuff in their best attire. Well at least some of them tried and some of them screamed “I refuse to hire a stylist when I can put together my own outfit!!”

Apparently Justin Beiber and Selena Gomez took some sort of special vitamins and grew up to be Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie overnight because they just look mature but in a vintage and youthful yet glamourous way. We almost didn’t recognize the favored young Hollywood couple. Selena donned a nude, satin Giorgio Armani gown paired with gold strappy sandals while Justin Bieber kept is extremely age appropriate yet formal in a black blazer jacket, slacks and high-top sneakers.

The 45th Annual Country Music Awards was held last night in Nashville, Tennessee and the ladies were ready for the red carpet. The carpet was filled with gowns of all colors, cuts and hemlines. It was as if someone secretly planned an unofficial Fashion’s Night Out!

From L to R: Taylor Swift, Sandra Lee, Kimberly Perry of The Perry Band, Faith Hill, Hillary Scott of Lady Antebellum, and Leann Rimes
We had the cream of the crop…literally. Many of our pretigious countries singers were dressed in shades of cream with accents of sequin, beadery, crystals and light shiffon but all were the same category – AMAZING!

From L to R: Reba Mcintire, Nicole Kidman, Miranda Lambert and Susie Brown and Danielle Leverett of the Jane Dear Girls
Some of our country elites chose a more subtle approach and opted for deeper colors. I’m too sure about this bunch so you can determine whether its a hit or miss…and is that Nicole Kidman or her Madame Tussaud’s wax figure! Overall, the night was filled with great performances, derving music contributors, satisfied fans and not to mention well thought looks that translated well onto photograph.
