The Look

Tiers, floral prints (or any prints for that matter), soft safari looks with an artisan touch are all making an appearance this summer season; and, if you're not in-step with one of these trendy summer hit makers then you're just out-of-touch.

The tiered look should be worn by professionals only, in fact, most of the trends this summer should be reserved for the vain of heart because it's going to take solid self-confidence to pull off these looks.

Just a few key rules before heading to your local vintage boutique or favorite shopping area:

1.  Mixing prints looks artsy on the run way but in everyday life pair a print pant or top with a solid.  It's not about matching but at least coordinate color schemes.

2.  Now that the tiered look has made it's way from evening and wedding chic to lunch with the girls, make sure you control the volume of the tier to ensure that it translates to daytime.  A heavy tiered look still is inappropriate for day.

3.  Make sure when attempting the safari look not to look as if you just returned from and African safari.  This means balance.  For example, if you have a safari jacket pair it with a loose fitting, linen Bermuda short or a full skirt.

STREET FASHION

Don't wear flats if the toe part is worn out especially with a cute jumper such as the one she is wearing, instead, try these cute flats by Beverly Feldman.

You can never go wrong with a vintage look mixed with a modern day twist. This is just a DO!
